What you can expect
First, you will facilitate an introduction call so we can meet the founders and learn about your potential investment. Then our work takes place over four phases.
Phase 1 - Pre-Exploration meeting call
This allows the founders to give us a general idea of where the business is, where they fit in the marketplace, what they’re trying to achieve. We will share with them what to expect from the Exploration meeting and potential subsequent steps.
Phase 2 - Exploration meeting
During the exploration meeting we will do a deep dive in to the programs and documentation of key departments and activities including:
-
Supply chain
-
Staffing
-
Operations
-
Logistics
-
Quality management
Phase 3 - Onsite reviews (as needed)
Based on findings in the Exploration meeting, time will be scheduled to observe production, review quality practices, and interview key staff members who were not present at the Exploration meeting. Any program improvements and corrective actions completed since Phase 2 will also be reviewed.
Phase 4 - Report
The work culminates in a detailed written report and an executive summary presentation for your selection team. Report includes strengths, gaps, opportunities for improvement and an assessment of the overall readiness to effectively deploy capital.
